IPSWICH, Mass. — May 4, 2012 — The Harvard Library Bibliographic Dataset is now available via EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) from EBSCO Publishing. EBSCO Discovery Service users are able to search millions of Harvard Library catalog records in the Base Index of EBSCO Discovery Service. The addition of these valuable resources from Harvard Library adds to the rapidly growing content available to EDS users.

The agreement adds metadata for all videos from INTELECOM’s academic video database to the Base Index of EDS and also allows mutual customers to access the full video database. With 3,500 video clips and growing, the INTELECOM Online Resources Network collections add a wealth of rich media to EBSCO Discovery Service. |

IPSWICH, Mass. — April 10, 2012 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) is making it easier for library staff to search for e-books and audiobooks and add them to their collections with the new EBSCOhost® Collection Manager (ECM). ECM can be used to search or browse for e-books and audiobooks by title, author, publisher and more or make selections from the Subject Sets or Featured Collections created by EBSCO’s collection development experts. ECM can also help libraries create and manage lists of titles they want to expose to patron drive acquisition (PDA), manage deposits and determine which ownership models to apply to the various e-books and audiobooks in their collection.
