London – 18 September 2012– EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) announced today that it has been selected as the sole supplier for print and electronic periodicals, e-journal packages, and associated subscription management and access services for the Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) Limited. As such, EBSCO will serve 19 universities and more than 45 colleges in Scotland. | |

Birmingham, Ala. — Sept. 16, 2011 — Each year, EBSCO strives to help customers plan by projecting publisher price increases for the upcoming year. We use recent information received from both large and small publishers as well as historical price data to calculate these projections. While based upon careful analysis, we recommend that subscribers exercise caution when using these projections, as they rely on historical trends and current estimates.

IPSWICH, Mass. — June 22, 2010 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) began providing key database content free of charge in 2008 and more and more users are incorporating these free resources into their daily research routines. Two free EBSCOhost® resources, GreenFILE™, and Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts™ (LISTA), have seen a tremendous amount of usage—a good indicator that EBSCO is providing the types of content users need, when they need it, and that these free resources are adding value to institutions around the globe. | |
| EBSCO Library Collections and Budgeting Trends Survey | EBSCO conducted a survey in February to assess the impact of current economic conditions on libraries. Many respondents reported that their libraries have been impaired by budget pressures and that they continue to look for cost-saving strategies heading into 2010-2011.
