IPSWICH, Mass., USA – Jan. 23, 2009 – Public libraries serve a growing non-English speaking population, as well as patrons who speak English but find it easier to read in their native languages. EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) will help libraries answer the health-related questions for these patrons with new Multilingual Health Databases™. EBSCO will offer 17 databases in highly sought after languages. The databases contain evidence-based reports for the 200 most common health topics, written at a third to seventh grade reading level. Each database is presented entirely in the given language, including screen wording, help, browsing, and full text. |
