Karger Hires EBSCO-owned EMpact Sales™ to Promote New Karger Hospital Collection in Major Territories across the Globe

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., USA – Feb. 24, 2009 – Karger, an independent, family-owned publishing house based in Basel, Switzerland, and EMpact Sales™ (EMpact), the publisher representation group of EBSCO Information Services, have partnered to provide the new Karger Hospital Collection to customers in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, United Kingdom, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. According to the partnership agreement, EMpact will serve as sales and marketing representative and consultant for Karger in these territories.

The Karger Hospital Collection is an online collection of titles specifically selected to meet the needs and requirements of clinical centers across various medical disciplines. Consisting of 20 e-journals and 10 e-books series, the Karger Hospital Collection is especially beneficial to hospital libraries.
