Allen Powell has served as President of EBSCO Information Services since 2004. Powell leads EBSCO’s 31 Regional Offices worldwide and headquarter divisions into the company’s 64th year of business, overseeing EBSCO’s many services for subscriptions and all types of related products for libraries and research organizations.
Kathleen Born, M.L.S., is Vice President and the Director of Academic and Law Divisions. In her position, Born focuses on service developments and marketing strategies for academic libraries and research institutions.
Lynn Fortney, M.L.S., serves as EBSCO’s Biomedical Division Director. In her position, Fortney provides a biomedical library focus for EBSCO Information Services. This includes monitoring trends affecting academic medical center and hospital libraries, recommending new services and participating in product development plans.
Dan Tonkery, M.L.S., serves as Vice President of Business Development for EBSCO. A seasoned industry professional, Tonkery helps guide the direction of new services, including digital library e-journal products for EBSCO Information Services.
Tracy Housch serves as EBSCO’s Vice President and General Manager of the Title Information Department. In this role, Housch’s responsibilities include maintaining EBSCO’s growing title file – which now includes more than 300,000 listings – as well as monitoring publisher business model and pricing changes.
Mark Alan Williams serves as EBSCO’s Director of Publisher Services/Publisher Relations. In this role, Williams’s responsibilities include accelerating the development of e-journal-related information technology enhancements while helping EBSCO strengthen the support it provides to publishers in the electronic environment.
Frank Mapes is Vice President and General Manager of Publisher Services at EBSCO. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Mapes supervises operational and fulfillment services for more than 79,000 publishers with whom EBSCO works worldwide.
Sid McNeal is Vice President and General Manager of EBSCO International. McNeal manages EBSCO’s regional offices in the Asian/Indian sub-continental regions, Australia/New Zealand and Latin America. He also oversees EMpact, part of the EBSCO group, which provides targeted sales and marketing services for publishers.
Ian Best is Vice President and General Manager of Information Systems and Services. Best’s responsibilities include ensuring that the development initiatives are focused on meeting the strategic technology objectives that support EBSCO’s worldwide base of customers and publishers and that the underlying infrastructure is available to meet the continuous growth of this division of EBSCO.
