Sample Issue & Book Program About Us
Sample Publications Before You Buy ... It Makes Sense!

By evaluating a publication at your leisure, you can make better informed decisions about collection development. The EBSCO Sample Issue & Book Program gives you the opportunity to do just that. Instead of making a spur-of-the moment decision about a particular publication, you can receive a free sample issue to review right in your office. All you have to do is complete a Sample Issue Request form in one of the two ways described below.

At Conferences - The Sample Issue & Book Program displays publications at major library conferences around the world. Visit our booth to sample the hundreds of national and international publications on display, including journals, books, newspapers, newsletters, CD-ROMs, videos and more. You can spend as much time as you'd like flipping through publications, reading articles and features, and reviewing charts and graphs. We'll provide you with a copy of our conference Title Guide, which includes the name and 25-word description of each publication featured at that conference, as well as publisher contact information.

On the Web - Although visiting the Sample Issue & Book Program booth at library conferences is the best way to review a number of publications at once, we understand that not everyone will be able to attend the conferences. However, you can still participate in the Sample Issue & Book Program. When you access our Sample Issue & Book Request form on the Web, you can select individual titles or an entire category of publications, then return the form to us electronically. These requests will be forwarded directly to the publishers.

Try it and you'll see ... it makes sense!
