Your usage statistics solution.
You know how valuable usage statistics are. You also know the time-consuming realities of comparative data analysis.
With ScholarlyStats, from MPS Technologies, your library can benefit from a centralized source that collects, consolidates and analyzes usage stats, saving time and money, and most importantly, helping your library make the most of its usage data.
ScholarlyStats collects data from individual vendors and provides your library with monthly usage reports, accessible via the ScholarlyStats Usage Statistics Portal.
This data is presented via three suites of reports: Consolidated Reports, Dashboard Reports and Source Reports.
ScholarlyStats also provides a Report Archive of your library's reports as they are collected, enabling quick reference and the ability to monitor historical usage trends.
Consolidated ReportsScholarlyStats Consolidated Reports include all vendor usage reports, consolidated into a single worksheet for quick and easy analysis of usage at your library across vendors of both journal and database platforms:
Journal Report 1: full-text article requests by month, journal and platform- Sort journals by platform- Compare usage of a single journal across multiple vendors- View top use journals across all platforms- View the publisher names of journals provided by aggregators who do not detail the publisher names in their reports.
Database Report 1: searches and sessions by month and database- Compare usage across databases easily, both within each hosting platform and between them- Easily sort statistics by either searches or sessions-Analyze top usage databases.
Database Report 2: turnaways by database- Quickly identify access issues across database subscriptions-Analyze top usage databases.
Database Report 3: searches and sessions by service- Compare searches and sessions usage between database services- Easily sort statistics by either searches or sessions.
Each Consolidated Report also enables the library to view non-COUNTER-compliant data in the ScholarlyStats formatted report and review the measurement used to calculate data, as well as the ability to monitor vendors as they become COUNTERcompliant.
Dashboard Reports ScholarlyStats Dashboard Reports contain the information needed for quick analysis of usage and usage trends. There are currently nine DashboardReports available:
Source ReportsSource Reports, available via the ScholarlyStats portal, provide access to raw data as collected from the vendor.
