In partnership with select publishers, EBSCO has announced expanded availability of its newest collection management tool designed to significantly increase the efficiency of your current e-package renewal process. Developed in collaboration with key scientific, technical and medical publishers, E-Package Renewals* on EBSCONET^®, powered by EBSCO RapidRenewal^®, brings together in a single Web interface all the information you need to complete renewals of your licensed e-journal collections, giving you an excellent vantage point for effective and efficient renewal decisions.

E-Package Renewals helps librarians make the most of today’s shrinking budgets and resources. In addition to reducing the time spent on the renewal of licensed e-journal collections from several weeks to just a few hours, E-Package Renewals provides many other customer benefits, including:

• System-enforced contract terms to ensure subscriptions are renewed correctly
• Line-item-level pricing for package components, customized per contract terms where applicable
• System customization for multi-library campuses and consortia

The EBSCO Sample Issue & Book Program (SIBP) is a great way to check out new and different titles to help you decide which journals and books will benefit your researchers the most. Instead of making a spur-of-the moment decision about a particular publication, you can receive a free sample issue to review right in your office.

Accessing our Sample Issue & Book Request form on the Web is simple. You can select individual titles or an entire category of publications, and then return the form to us electronically. Fuente Académica Premier^TM Now Available from EBSCO Publishing

~Expanded Full-Text Coverage of Journals from Latin America, Portugal & Spain Available in New EBSCOhost^® Database~

EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) has expanded its non-English full-text scholarly content with the release of Fuente Académica^TM Premier. This database represents a rapidly growing collection of Latin American, Portuguese and Spanish-language periodicals. Fuente Académica Premier includes full text for more than 650 scholarly publications. The database also includes a collection of academic books from 18 countries that will grow to more than 64.

Researchers looking for more international full-text coverage will find all major subject areas covered with particular emphasis on agriculture, biological sciences, economics, history, law, literature, philosophy, psychology, public administration, religion and sociology. Search functionality is enhanced through the incorporation of author-supplied keywords in Spanish.

This new resource builds on the coverage of EBSCO’s well-received Fuente Académica database. Fuente Académica Premier provides academic books, scholarly journals and a deep backfile which goes back to volume one, issue one for some titles. Much like other EBSCOhost^® databases, Fuente Académica Premier makes it possible for institutions to access expanded coverage as their needs and budgets warrant.
